报告人简介：

Dr. Jung is a full professor specializing in plant pathology and breeding/genetics using genomics and molecular approaches, Stockbridge School of Agriculture, a faculty member of the Plant Biology Graduate Program, and also faculty of GI-CoRE (Global Institution for Collaborative Research and Education), Hokkaido University, Japan. Peer-Reviewed Research Most Recent Publications (out of a total of 104); Non-Refereed Journals (>250 extension publications/trade journals). His research foci are; 1) molecular mechanisms of fungicide resistance in filamentous fungi, 2) metagenomics of soil microbes on organic and conventional managed golf courses, 3) management of fungicide resistance on turfgrass diseases, 4) mapping of quantitative disease resistance traits in turfgrass and comparative genomics analysis in Poaceae species, and 5) classical and molecular breeding of disease resistance in turfgrass.
